School Day

The Start of the Day

We open the school gates at 8:40am in the morning to invite children and accompanying adults to trickle into school. After entering the school gates, we encouarge children to walk to their classroom independently.

Entering the School Buildings

Year 5 and 6 – On arrival, the children will enter via the door on the KS2 playground. A member of staff will be there to greet them accordingly. 

Year 3/4-  On arrival the children will head towards Mrs Scott and enter via the hall doors.

Year 3 and Year 4- Children will enter through the doors to the Y3 and Y4 classroom block off the Early Year’s playground.  Please could all adults remain outside the Early Year’s gate, you are welcome to stand on the grass if you wish to watch your child go into the door.

Year 1 and 2– On arrival, the children will enter via the ramp and the door into the KS1 building. A member of staff will be there to greet and direct them accordingly.

Reception - On arrival, the children will enter via the coloured gate on the Reception playground. A member of staff will be there to direct them accordingly.  

Playtime

KS1- 10:30am- 10:45am

KS2- 10:45am- 11:00am

Lunchtime

Reception- 11:45- 1:00pm

KS1- 12:00- 1:00pm

KS2- 12:15- 1:15pm

The End of the Day

Both gates again will be open at both entrances at the end of the day. Departure times are slightly staggered.

3.10pm – Reception pupils to be collected

3.15pm - KS1 children to be collected

3.20pm – KS2 children to leave – Year 5 and 6 children can walk home on their own with permission. Please ask at the school office if you'd like a consent form.
